Het sportcomplex is een nieuwe, aantrekkelijke accommodatie. Het gebouw is ontwikkeld als training- en wedstrijdlocatie en biedt studenten de mogelijkheid om te sporten en te ontspannen. Het complex ligt aan de centrale Erasmus Plaza, en vormt samen met het Hatta Building de oostelijke toegang tot de universiteitscampus.

Het nieuwe complex biedt ruimte aan een grote hoeveelheid gebruikers en accommodeert een divers aantal sportieve functies, waaronder drie grote wedstrijdruimtes, twee trainingsruimtes, een fitnessruimte, horeca en aanvullende voorzieningen. De indeling van het gebouw is gebaseerd op logische functionele en visuele verbindingen tussen deze verschillende functies. Door gerelateerde functies te clusteren, zijn ze makkelijk afzonderlijk te gebruiken en wordt de gebruiker en exploitant een bepaald gemak geboden. Alle functies zijn ontsloten door de binnenstraat, die zowel aan de noord- als de zuidkant de belangrijkste entree tot het gebouw vormt.
